 I worked on this piece for many hours. It was my anatomy lesson to teach myself about the organ. I used threads instead of colored pencils, or paints to learn about this organ.

I took this image out of my daughter's college anatomy book. This image is specific for the arterial veins.
This is a detail of the work. I call this the Anatomical Uterus. It is currently on display at the Escondido Municipal Gallery. http://www.escondidoarts.org/

Anatomical Uterus was awarded first place for the West Coast Fiber and Book Arts. 

The exhibit is on display
August 21- September 29, 2012.
